Lisa Head

Born in Atlanta, Lisa Head has called Savannah home for most of her
life, with brief chapters in Florida and Mississippi. For the past 15
years, she has lived at Savannah Summit, a rent-assisted high-rise,
where she has thrived living independently. An expert navigator of
Savannah’s CAT bus system, Lisa enjoys the freedom and mobility it
gives her.

A lifelong Braves baseball fan, Lisa also loves figure skating and
gymnastics. She shares her home with her cat, Lily, who keeps her
company and entertained. Lisa has been friends with her advocate,
Cathy Schmitz, for 11 years, and together they’ve worked toward
building confidence, connections, and opportunities.
Lisa is excited to join the Citizens Advocacy Board, where she hopes
to help others discover their own independence and find joy in life’s
experiences, just as she has.
