Board

The Reverend Kelly Steele is an Episcopal priest serving St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Georgia. She’s a resident in the Starland District and got involved with Citizens Advocacy through God’s work in her ministry by meeting someone from Mixed Greens and coming with them to the Potluck in 2015. Steele is fond of saying that “the Citizens Advocacy potluck is the closest I’ve come to seeing the Kingdom of God manifest in Savannah.” Steele was ordained a priest in 2016 in Savannah. She’s a summa cum laude graduate of Duke Divinity School, Duke University in Durham, NC as well as a 2012 summa cum laude graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. She enjoys roller skating, Bull Street Taco, and long walks throughout Savannah with her dog, Reina, and husband, The Reverend Guillermo Arboleda.
